At an early stage in his life, Tim Boylan found his calling. As a boy, he searched for a summer job. Fortune smiled down on him when he found a position with American Marine Covering, a company that was the leader of the industry in those early years. Through his time there, Tim acquired the essential skills necessary for performing some of the most difficult tasks involved in cutting and fitting canvas covers, perfecting upholstery, and designing yacht interiors.

Unrelentingly, Tim continued to hone his skill, gaining notoriety as one of the top craftsmen in canvas. His interest never wavered from the nautical world, and this specialization left him uniquely equipped. Limiting his field exclusively to the marine industry ensured that he became familiar with the vast variety of watercraft.

Having worked with a number of yacht companies, including Richard Bartam & Co., Allied Marine Azimut Yachts, and many others, Tim was constantly assimilating information and learning new techniques. He decided to form his own company. In 1997, he started Elite Marine Canvas & Interiors. Customers instantly flocked to his new project.

Elite Marine Canvas & Interiors swiftly took off, steadily gaining ground among yacht owners in Miami, FL and around the world. Tim brought his skills to Ecuador and back, and continued to work cooperatively with other companies in his relentless search for new challenges.

Since 2008, Elite Marine Canvas & Interiors has worked with Allied Richard Bartram. Together, this potent team brings almost infinite experience to the table, and is mightily equipped to handle any and all yachting needs.
